Keystone Symposium 2018- Ubiquitin Signaling , California, USA, 28th January 2018-1st February 2018

Event Date: 28 February, 2018

Dr. David Komander and Dr. Sylvie Urbé, members of PROTEOSTASIS, are the organizers of the Keystone Symposium 2018- Ubiquitin Signaling to be held in California (USA) between 28th January 2018-1st February 2018 counts with 2 members of PROTEOSTASIS.

These are exciting times for Ubiquitin research: potential targets for small molecule inhibitors are emerging in a variety of human diseases and these are being exploited by the pharmaceutical industry. At the same time new enzymes regulating ubiquitin modifications are still being discovered, and the complexity of ubiquitin modifications continues to icrease with the emerging cross-talk between posttranslational modifications. This keystone symposium entitled ‘Ubiquitin signalling’ will focus on the latest insights in the large area of cellular regulation mediated by ubiquitin and ubiquitin-like modifiers. The key goals of the meeting are to provide overviews and updates on emerging frontiers, inform on new developments to understand the complexity, and to encourage efforts to exploit the system to provide new treatments for human diseases.
