Prof. Arkaitz Carracedo, PROTEOSTASIS WG6 and Translational Projects leader, recognized as Young Talent (“Joven Investigador”) in the field of biomedicine by “CONSTANTES & VITALES”

Prof. Arkaitz Carracedo, PROTEOSTASIS WG6 and Translational Projects leader, received the Young Talent (“Joven Investigador”) Award in the field of biomedicine delivered by “CONSTANTES & VITALES” Spanish Initiative.

The award recognizes individuals, born after 1st January 1972, who are leading research groups in Spain and who prove original and relevant contributions in the field of biomedicine. The Award Jury outlined that Arkaitz Carracedo has developed an original line of research through innovative approaches. The Jury also recognized the ability demonstrated by Prof. Arkaitz Carracedo to achieve scientifically relevant objectives and to formulate scientific-technical solutions to biomedical problems. The quality, multidisciplinarity, transdisciplinarity and applicability of his research to patients has also been valued, as well as the established collaborations with researchers from other areas and from other countries.
