The working group “Cellular Proteolysis” of the French Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SFBBM; http://sfbbm.fr/) organizes the 8th Symposium on Cellular Proteolysis in the village of La Grande Motte (department of Hérault, South of France). The meeting will take place during 15-17 October 2018 in the resort “Belambra-Presqu’île du Ponant”.
The Symposium is an important meeting for the French scientific community working on cellular proteolysis and is supposed to offer a dynamic environment for exchange between students, researchers and technical personnel involved in basic and medical research in the field. The symposium includes presentations by invited speakers covering latest field developments as well as selected oral presentations of submitted abstracts. A major goal of the symposium is to promote participation of young researchers, graduate students and postdocs and allow them to communicate their results in oral presentations. In addition, the organizers are committed to sponsor the largest possible number of subscription fees for young researchers.
The duration of the symposium is 3 days and includes 7 plenary sessions, one poster session and a short “speed poster” session in the first evening.
