The next FEBS congress which will be held in Prague, (Czech Republic) next July 12th 2018, being organized by Professor Thomas Arnesen, Professor Rafael Aldabe and Professor Carmela Giglione will include a specific session entitled “Control of fundamental biological processes by N-terminal modifications”. This session will cover the details and cutting edge research on N-terminal modifications in all organisms. This session will be preceded by a poster session on July 11th and followed in the afternoon of July 12th by a two-hour workshop including an “elevator pitch” to give the possibility to most of participants to introduce themselves.
The session will provide the ideal forum for discussing not only approaches and ideas applicable to everyone in the field without regard to traditional disciplinary boundaries but also possible common actions. It is already assembled a terrific scientific program with a wonderful international speaker line up and what promises to be an exciting session-workshop with many lively discussions. Invited speakers include: C. Overall (BCU, Vancouver, Canada), E. Tate (Imperial College, London, UK), T. Meinnel (I2BC-CNRS, France), T. Arnesen (Bergen University, Bergen, Norway), Y.T. Kwon (Seoul National University, Seoul, Republic of Korea), A. Bachmair (Vienna University, Vienna, Austria) , N. Dissmeyer (Leibniz IPB, Halle, Germany).
