CIC bioGUNE, Grant Holder of PROTEOSTASIS, is recognized by the University of the Basque Country (Spain) for its education and training performance

On the 22nd of December 2017, CIC bioGUNE has been recognized by the University of the Basque Country (Spain) for its education and training performance. The University of the Basque Country recognized the work of CIC bioGUNE that each year hosts a very high number of graduates in internships. It was also outlined the importance of the collaboration between CIC bioGUNE and the University of the Basque Country in the fields of education and research. Recently, CIC bioGUNE was also awarded with the “Severo Ochoa” accreditation by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness which is the highest recognition of  excellence in research in Spain.

Dr. Rosa Barrio, Chair of PROTEOSTASIS, attended the event at the University of the Basque Country and received the award on behalf of CIC bioGUNE.
